A new video claims that the govt strips us of our liberties as the main political parties and MSM are letting it slide by.

Filmmaker has created a new film calling out two issues that have to be stopped.

The first he mentions is the right to strike, which the government is trying to curtail, with new legislation.

The other is that he claims that the democratic process is completely out of control.

Fatal motion

As Peter points out only the Green Party’s Baroness Jenny Jones is trying to stop this in its tracks.

Jones has tabled a Fatal Motion for 13 June to stop the government from using a ‘Ministerial decree’ to overturn a vote in the Lords. This is the first time ever that a Government Minister has tried to use secondary legislation to directly overturn the will of Parliament.

Green Party Baroness, Jenny Jones said: “This is a make-or-break moment for parliamentary democracy. The Lords defeated the government on this issue and the Minister is now acting like a seventeenth-century monarch by using a decree to reverse that vote.

“What is the point of Parliament if a Minister can just ignore the outcome of debates and votes by imposing draconian laws on the public?

“This is not a one-off, but part of a trend of legislation that undermines parliamentary democracy by giving Ministers increasing powers to make, delete or change laws. In the last four years, we have seen a series of skeleton bills pass through parliament that hand over powers and discretion to Ministers to make decisions with minimal parliamentary scrutiny.”

Peter shared the video and wrote: “This is probably the angriest film I’ve ever made & I make no excuses for my rage – this is a make-or-break moment for parliamentary democracy – where is UK media? I won’t just stand by whilst this Government strips us of our liberties – if you’re with me please RT this widely.”

How can anyone think the UK is a democracy? It's getting more like a #Shamocracy every day.

As you watch the clip below – Remember: We do not elect the Ministers in our Government. The Party Leader chooses them. We have no say in who they are, or what they believe.
