Brexit BBC Question time was on last night and the crowd was just leavers, and filmed from Essex. A very pro-leave area at the time of the vote, perhaps not anymore?

To kick it off this tweet almost ends the artilce!

Johnathan Portes tweeted: “By far the most telling aspect of this @bbcquestiontime is that, as Fiona Bruce just said, this government – elected on a manifesto to “Get Brexit Done” – can’t find a single Minister who is prepared to defend the Brexit they’ve actually delivered.”

Brexit BBC Question time

Alastair Campbell didn’t hold back he told the audience: “You were lied too.. I understand why you voted for Brexit.. Johnson, Farage, these conmen were coming along and offering you something that was going to make your lives better.. I don’t blame you for voting for Brexit, I blame them for lying to you.

“And I was in a school today, just a few minutes away from here. Clacton Coastal Academy. Really bright kids. Really nice teachers. Fantastic school in a very tough area, and I asked the kids what they thought of Brexit and all but two said they would vote to rejoin the European Union if they had the chance.”

Now this is a claim we can’t back up…

Central Bylines tweeted: :A little bird in our ear tells us the person who picks the audience is a full-on right-wing Brexit supporter….”

Well, they would have had an easy job for this show!

A very serious question to Question Time and Fiona Bruce.

Why is your audience for the Brexit special all white and over 40?

Was this guy lying?

Going to call this Brexit-voting man out as a liar, why did Fiona Bruce or anyone else ask where for example?

"I've seen people entering this country and going straight down to the benefits office." #BBCQTpic.twitter.com/V1VM5bBr0s

John Redwood

Ah, dear John Redwood! He told the audience that the cost of living crisis has NOTHING whatsoever to do with Brexit.

John Redwood, "The cost of living crisis has nothing to do with Brexit."

Fiona Bruce, "You're saying the cost of living crisis has nothing to do with Brexit whatsoever?"

German builders

because German roofers went on top of buildings without safety guards.

The woman said: “The reason that I wanted to come out of Brexit was because we seemed to keep all the rules and many foreign countries didn’t. I’m just talking about people that go up on roofs, for one thing.

“We kept … when they brought the rules in about the safety guards, we took that on board. But when you went to France or Germany or something, they were all up on their roofs with nothing.

“And we were paying, you know, the cost of having to do it the right way but they weren’t. And that’s one of the biggest reasons why I voted to come out.”

#BBCQT Brexit Special audience member is "not unhappy" with how Brexit is going, because at least now "people in France and Germany" don't "go up on their roofs with nothing". ~AA 🤷🏽‍♂️ pic.twitter.com/M1Denj5LMk
