Guy Ritchie and Tyson Fury could team up for Snatch 2.

Snatch 2

Joe reported that they asked Tyson Fury about making a sequel to the film that featured Bard Pitt among others in a gangster romp, following on from the success of Lock, Stock and two smoking barrels.

It was reported that Fury smiled and replied: “I’m due to have a couple of meetings with Guy, about a couple of movies. That could be some big news coming in the future, that’s a little preview for you there.”

He also said: ““One Punch Mickey O’Neill, he was a good fighter as well. It is one of my favourite, all time movies. When Guy Ritchie did that, we watched that movie when I was just a young kid, great movie. Guy Ritchie is a great director, and hopefully in the future we make something together. We’ll make a real fight movie, with a real fighter.”

Snatch revisited – spoiler alert

“Snatch” is a 2000 British crime comedy film directed by Guy Ritchie. The film features an ensemble cast and intertwining plotlines centered around a stolen diamond and various characters from the criminal underworld. Here’s a brief overview of the plot:

The story kicks off when a small-time boxing promoter named Turkish (played by Jason Statham) and his partner Tommy (played by Stephen Graham) get involved in a high-stakes match with a dangerous gangster named Brick Top (played by Alan Ford). The match is rigged, and Turkish finds himself in a difficult situation when he realizes that his fighter, Gorgeous George, needs to be replaced at the last minute.

Turkish and Tommy come across a talented and unlicensed bare-knuckle fighter named Mickey O’Neil (played by Brad Pitt), who is notorious for his unpredictable nature and unconventional fighting style. They convince Mickey to participate in the match, hoping to secure their victory.

Meanwhile, another storyline revolves around a group of small-time thieves led by Franky Four Fingers (played by Benicio Del Toro). Franky is sent to London by New York-based mobsters to carry out a heist involving a valuable diamond, which is to be delivered to a pawnbroker named Doug the Head (played by Mike Reid).

However, things go awry when Franky’s plans start to unravel. He becomes involved with a group of pawnshop owners, one of whom is the violent and unpredictable Boris the Blade (played by Rade Šerbedžija). The situation becomes even more complicated when the diamond goes missing, and Franky finds himself in serious trouble with his employers.

The film showcases clever dialogue, witty banter, and various unexpected twists as the characters race to get their hands on the stolen diamond, leading to a gripping and entertaining crime caper.

“Snatch” is known for its fast-paced storytelling, memorable characters, and dark humor, making it a beloved cult classic among fans of crime comedies.
