Zootopia 2 was officially announced by Disney CEO Bob Iger.
‘There are three dates on the studio’s release calendar fans should circle as perfect candidates for the animated sequel,’ reports The Direct.
Potential release dates
The three days in question are Wednesday, November 27, 2024, Wednesday, November 26, 2025, and Wednesday, November 25, 2026.
Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde and Ginnifer Goodwin as Officer Judy Hopps would be likely to return in the upcoming sequel.
The pair also appeared in the Zootopia spin-off series, Zootopia+ so if the timing (and money) was right it would probably happen.
“According to several sources, Disney recently conducted a test screening for Zootopia 2 and things went better than ever!,’ reports Disney Fanatic.
As ever, take these claims with a pinch of salt.

Zootopia is a 2016 animated film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and released by Walt Disney Pictures.

Plot
The plot of Zootopia revolves around Judy Hopps (voiced by Ginnifer Goodwin), who becomes the first rabbit to join the Zootopia Police Department. She is determined to prove herself as a capable officer but faces challenges and stereotypes in a city where larger and more traditionally predatory animals often hold positions of authority.
