New details from a GTA 6 leak have surfaced, shedding light on what could be a massive game with a 750GB file size and a substantial 400 hours of gameplay. However, these revelations might pose a challenge for gamers dealing with storage constraints.

Despite ongoing leaks, Rockstar Games has not officially announced GTA 6, leaving fans to speculate about the potential release. The tenth anniversary of Grand Theft Auto V has arrived, but Rockstar’s CEO emphasizes the company’s preference for making the release of their top titles a “rare event.”

Even without an official trailer, rumors suggest a return to Vice City, inspired by Miami, with two playable protagonists named Jason and Lucia, drawing inspiration from the infamous crime duo Bonnie and Clyde.

The recent leak, shared by GTA 6 News, indicates that the game will demand a substantial 750GB of storage on release day. For console users, this poses a challenge, especially on platforms like the PS5, which offers 825GB of storage but reserves 158GB for system files, leaving only 667GB for players. The rumored file size of GTA 6 exceeds this capacity by over 80GB, implying that additional storage solutions may be necessary for PlayStation players to run the latest release.

Rockstar’s CEO, Strauss Zelnick, likened major franchises like Red Dead Redemption and Grand Theft Auto to James Bond, suggesting they will persist until interest wanes or they cease to be profitable. Zelnick highlighted the importance of creating exceptional titles and deliberately spacing out releases to maintain a sense of rarity and anticipation, cautioning against the risk of overusing intellectual properties.

While the leak hints at an expansive and immersive gaming experience, it also raises concerns about practicalities such as storage space, leaving gamers to speculate on the potential challenges they may face when GTA 6 finally hits the market.
