In a shocking incident in Clapham, south London, a mother, aged 31, and her three-year-old daughter suffered potentially life-changing injuries after a corrosive substance was thrown in their faces on Wednesday night. The victims were swiftly rushed to the hospital, and a manhunt is now underway for the suspect who fled the scene.

Eyewitnesses recounted a horrifying scene, describing a woman screaming for help as a man forcibly pulled a child out of a car and violently slammed her onto the ground. The victim, in visible distress, was heard crying, “My eyes. My eyes. Call the police. My eyes.” The assailant fled, prompting immediate concern for the well-being of the victims.

One witness, speaking to The Independent, shared her account of the distressing incident, stating, “He lifted the young child up, extended his arms up above his head, and threw her to the floor like a ragdoll. I thought she was dead, everyone was screaming ‘stop’ and ‘call the police.'”
