Rishi Sunak is gathering his cabinet at Chequers for an all-day summit to plot the strategy to ensure his time is not curtailed – by his own MPs or, more likely, by the voters…finally!

Like May, Johnson and Truss before him, his time seems up already?

Will it have been fun today?

Highly unlikely, as he has to deal with Nadhim Zahawi’s tax affairs and Dominic Raab’s, at least 24, bullying allegations.

Currently the Labour party have a 22-point lead in recent polling, suggesting the majority of the electorate now believe Keir Starmer will be the next prime minister.

However, maybe this ‘dirty’ weekday trip away will solve ALL the government’s problems.

These people don’t hold much hope for Rishi and his motley crew…

Rishi Sunak and his cabinet are having an “away day” at his country mansion Chequers. Apparently they’re discussing why they’re so unpopular. They could have just stayed here and asked me!

Ah how nice. An away-day for serial cheats, corruption-junkies, liars, bullies, zealots and incompetents, so they can try to work out a way to keep duping the British people into putting up with their relentless shit.

Or indeed this?

What's up with having a meeting in the Cabinet Room say immediately after the daily Cabinet meeting usually used to discuss the issues of the country… why is a 4th Tory PM in 5 years in survival mode – why don't they just call a feckin election and put us all out of our misery https://t.co/7UhJ0UrtrJ
