A comment about Jeremy Corbyn is going viral and it seems he still has a lot of supporters who wish he could have become PM.

He has not gone away, even though you guess Starmer wishes he would.

For example, he made an impassioned speech in the House of Commons about UK military support for Israel.

He shared his speech and wrote: “The UK’s continued military cooperation with Israel is truly unforgivable.”

He also penned a letter saying: “We refuse to accept the normalisation of Palestinian deaths. End arms sales to Israel, now.”

On the matter of Labour’s forthcoming disability cuts he asked Liz Kendell if she could confirm that no disabled person would be left worse off after these cuts. Liz, as you would expect, couldn’t confirm this.

Work and Pensions Secretary Liz Kendall replied: “The predication of this statement is to stop people being written off, denied opportunities, denied hope, denied a future, and it’s about making the social security system sustainable for the long-term.”

He added: “What her statement has done is caused consternation and dismay to many people around the country, who understandably are alarmed that their benefits are going to go down, particularly those with disabilities, and they’re going to live in greater poverty as a result of it.

“Can she, with hand on heart, say that no disabled person is going to be worse off after (the) statement? Or is that £5 billion going to be taken at the expense of those who live the most difficult lives already in our society?”

She could not.

Shouldn't that be enough to realise this is the wrong thing to do? pic.twitter.com/8IqjghlRFH

Viral comment

Now, it comes to the viral comment. X account Mukhtar wrote: “We had a chance in 2017 & 2019 to vote for a PM that truly cared about all people. He wanted to end homelessness, tax the rich more, close tax loopholes, hold Isreal accountable, & recognise Palestine. He was for the people, not for the rich. That’s why they tried to destroy him.”

I will NEVER forgive the media of this country for their unjustified smear of this man. Corbyn was the only hope of real change and that terrified the elite so they rallied to stop him. https://t.co/IXYr9G5W14
