Trump has no clue about missing US troops as quote comes back to haunt him

"Not a tweet. Not a statement. Nothing. If Biden stayed silent, the media would burn the place down," one person said in response.

Four American soldiers, initially reported missing in Lithuania, have now been confirmed dead by NATO. But there’s one catch: the U.S. military never officially confirmed their deaths at first. Talk about confusion.

❓ Trump’s Surprising Response

President Donald Trump shocked many when he said he hadn’t been briefed on the incident. The question on everyone’s mind: How could he not know?

The tragedy occurred during a training exercise, and reports later revealed that the soldiers’ vehicle was found submerged in water. This suggests the deaths might not have been accidental.

📰 NATO’s Statement

NATO Secretary-General Mark Rutte told reporters that the soldiers had died, though he didn’t provide specifics. But as news spread, NATO’s acting spokesperson, Allison Hart, clarified that Rutte was only referring to news reports. Details were still unclear.

🗣️ The Backlash

Aaron Rupar shared a clip of Trump’s response to the tragedy, which quickly went viral. He pointed out, “This is an absolutely shocking statement from POTUS.” Despite the news being reported hours earlier, Trump seemed completely unaware of the deaths.

Anger

1.

Four American soldiers are dead in Lithuania — and Trump hasn’t said a damn word.

Not a tweet. Not a statement. Nothing.

If Biden stayed silent, the media would burn the place down. But Trump? He skates, like always. It’s pathetic — and dangerous.

We lost 4 Americans in Benghazi and MAGA still won’t shut up about it.

We lost 4 American soldiers today in Lithuania.

And Donald Trump didn’t know anything about it.

To be fair, the picture books about the Lithuania incident have probably not been printed yet.

Trump’s need for pictures is relatively well-known.https://t.co/Em5roUDETq

If a random building in Colorado hangs a picture of him that he doesn’t like, he knows immediately and spends the day tweeting about it. But four dead Americans and he’s got no fucking clue. https://t.co/A6h62AGvMm

It has been widely reported for a while now that four US troops died in Lithuania and yet the President still has no clue. They must be keeping him off the Signal chats…

Losers and suckers

Does anyone remember when, back in 2020, he said this, Americans Who Died in War Are ‘Losers’ and ‘Suckers’?

When President Donald Trump canceled a visit to the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, near Paris, in 2018, he blamed rain for the last-minute decision, saying that “the helicopter couldn’t fly” and that the Secret Service wouldn’t drive him there. Neither claim was true.

In a conversation with senior staff members on the morning of the scheduled visit, Trump said, “Why should I go to that cemetery? It’s filled with losers.”

In a separate conversation on the same trip, Trump referred to the more than 1,800 marines who lost their lives at Belleau Wood as “suckers” for getting killed.
