Nigel Farage criticised Keir Starmer’s EU reset deal in the press. But when MPs gathered for a key Commons update, Farage was nowhere to be seen. Why? He’d popped off on holiday.

🤦‍♂️ Part-time leader exposed
A Tory spokesman branded him “the part-time leader of Reform UK” for “sunning himself in Europe while Parliament sits.” A Labour source piled on, calling him an opportunist who “talks Britain down whenever it suits him.”

🛶 “Rubbish sources,” he said
Rumours swirled that the Clacton MP was on a walking holiday in France. Asked for a response, Farage sniffed: “Rubbish sources.” Yet Reform UK HQ later confirmed he’d decamped abroad for his first overseas break in three years.

🔥 Critics have their say
Ex-minister Sir Simon Clarke scoffed: “His politics is all ego and social media—nothing like the hard graft of holding the government to account.” Labour MP Connor Naismith quipped that Farage was “melting on holiday when he should be at work.”

📣 Tice left to pick up the slack
With Farage sunning himself, colleague Richard Tice had to challenge Starmer on the EU deal. Starmer used the moment to boast of a “hat-trick of deals” boosting jobs, cutting bills and strengthening borders.

🤷‍♀️ Holiday over—back to business?
The Commons stays open until Thursday. Whether Farage returns in time or extends his break remains to be seen.
