Former Reform UK MP Rupert Lowe has been recorded making an “antisemitic” remark during a meeting in parliament this year.
Video footage shows Rupert Lowe, who was suspended from the party after a bitter public spat with Nigel Farage, commenting in front of parliamentary staff.
In a leaked recording, Mr Lowe commented on the size of a camera being used to film him. “In days gone by, you’d call it a Jewish camera, but that would be politically incorrect. Because it’s so small,” Mr Lowe is recorded as saying.
Femi
Femi shared the clip and wrote: “Hey @RupertLowe10, When you’re done suing me, you might want to sue the Guardian for publishing this video. Because anyone who watches this would conclude that you Rupert Lowe, are just antisemitic filth. That’s really damaging for your reputation with decent people.”
Lowe had recently threatened to sue Femi for defamation.
Rupert’s response?
Not a great deal, a lot of moaning about the Chagos Islands deal and this…
