President Trump dialled in to NBC on Saturday and unleashed a blistering threat: if Elon Musk backs Democrats opposing the “Big Beautiful Bill,” he’ll face “serious consequences.”
He didn’t mince words. “I’m too busy doing other things,” Trump said. “I have no intention of speaking to him.” Ouch.
💔 From best buddies to bitter foes
It only took a flurry of insults for their bromance to fizzle. Musk dubbed Trump’s spending plan the “Big Ugly Bill” and a “disgusting abomination.” Trump snapped back, calling Musk “disrespectful” and threatening to yank his government contracts.
“It’s a shame he’s so depressed and heartbroken,” Trump sighed. Maybe he needs a hug… or a new Tesla Model S.
⚡ ‘Big favour’ in disguise
In true Trump fashion, he spun the feud as a marketing win. “Elon’s insults did us a big favour,” he said. “It got people talking about the bill and how good it is.” Smart PR or spin? You decide.
🔥 Revenge plans… or not?
Trump hinted he might ditch the red Tesla he purchased with Musk at a White House event. But when NBC asked if he’d actually pull contracts, Trump shrugged: “I haven’t thought about that further.” So, maybe the rocket-fuelled feud will cool… or flare up again.
🚀 What’s next?
Musk responded by suggesting the administration bottled up Epstein files naming Trump. He even backed a call for Trump’s impeachment in favour of VP J.D. Vance. Vance, in turn, called Musk’s attacks “totally insane.”
The stage is set for round two—and we’re all here for the fireworks.
