The most blatant indication that a “Freaky Friday” sequel is in the works comes from Jamie Lee Curtis.

The 2003 fantasy comedy’s main characters, Dr. Tess Coleman (Curtis) and her adolescent daughter Anna (Lindsay Lohan), switch bodies, leading to hilariously awkward situations.

After two decades, Curtis has suggested that viewers should get ready for a sequel to the cherished Disney movie, which was a remake of a 1976 movie with the same name.

“It’s going to happen,” she told Variety at the Producers Guild of America Awards on Saturday. “Without saying there’s anything officially happening, I’m looking at you in this moment and saying, ‘Of course it’s going to happen.’ It’s going to happen.”
