The show featured guests who were involved in dramatic and sometimes violent conflicts, ranging from love triangles to family feuds to shocking revelations.

Despite criticism from some groups who felt the show was exploitative and demeaning, The Jerry Springer Show became a cultural phenomenon and remained on the air for over 25 years, making it one of the longest-running talk shows in television history.
