Director Christophe Gans intends to revisit Silent Hill for a new horror film after more than 15 years. This follow-up, which addresses certain loose ends from his 2006 film, aims to go even farther into the locale and the franchise as a whole.
The Return to Silent Hill release date is still unknown. However, we do know when the suspense movie will be shot. Following the announcement, producer Alan Jones tweeted that filming will begin “in February [2023] and end in late 2023.”
The Return to Silent Hill plot will be based on Silent Hill 2, according to director Christophe Gans. “The film tells the story of a young guy returning to silent Hill, where he has known a great love, and what he’s going to find is pure nightmare,” Gans says.
