Chandler Riggs, best known for his role as Carl Grimes in AMC’s hit series “The Walking Dead,” has taken on a new persona: Spider-Man. The actor, who bid farewell to the zombie-infested world of “The Walking Dead” in its eighth season, is now donning the iconic red-and-blue suit as Peter Parker in an upcoming fan-made film titled “The Spider.”

The trailer for “The Spider” offers a chilling twist on the beloved superhero, presenting a horror genre spin on the character that diverges from the typical narrative associated with Spider-Man. Despite its deviation from the traditional superhero formula, the film’s trailer promises a thrilling and eerie take on the iconic character.

Directed and written by Andy Chen, “The Spider” features Riggs in the lead role, supported by a talented cast including Caylee Cowan, Matthew Vorce, Kyra Gardner, Holgie Forrester, and others. Produced by Artin John and Kealani Kitaura, the film is set to explore uncharted territory within the Spider-Man universe, offering audiences a fresh and unconventional perspective on the beloved comic book hero.

Teasing an upcoming thriller featuring former co-stars Katelyn Nacon and Madison Lintz, Riggs expressed his commitment to exploring new creative avenues and pushing the boundaries of storytelling.

As fans eagerly await the release of “The Spider” and Riggs’ future projects, the actor’s transition from the post-apocalyptic world of “The Walking Dead” to the web-slinging adventures of Spider-Man marks a bold and exciting new chapter in his career. With his passion for storytelling and dedication to innovation, Riggs continues to captivate audiences with his diverse range of talents and creative endeavors.
