Fans of the “Mad Max” franchise were thrilled to hear about the upcoming prequel film “Furiosa,” which will explore the backstory of one of the series’ most iconic characters. The movie, directed by George Miller and set to star Chris Hemsworth, promises to be a thrilling and action-packed addition to the franchise.

“Furiosa” takes place before the events of “Mad Max: Fury Road” and focuses on the character of Furiosa, played by Charlize Theron in the original film. This time around, the role will be played by rising star Anya Taylor-Joy, and the movie will explore how she became the fierce and determined warrior we met in “Fury Road.”

Hemsworth, known for his roles in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and “Extraction,” has been cast in an as-yet-unknown role in the film. However, rumors have circulated that he may be playing a love interest for Furiosa or a fellow warrior fighting alongside her.
