Prime Video has unwrapped the festive trailer for the upcoming Christmas movie “Candy Cane Lane,” starring the dynamic duo of Eddie Murphy and Tracee Ellis Ross. Set to hit screens on December 1, this heartwarming holiday film, directed by Reginald Hudlin, promises a perfect blend of laughter, magic, and Christmas spirit.

In “Candy Cane Lane,” Murphy takes on the role of Chris, a dedicated husband and father with a festive mission: winning the neighborhood’s fiercely competitive Christmas decoration contest. However, a twist of fate occurs when Chris unknowingly strikes a deal with a mischievous elf, portrayed by Jillian Bell. The consequence? A spell that transforms the 12 Days of Christmas into a surprising and chaotic reality. Now, Chris must embark on a quest to save the holiday for his family and the entire community.

Directed by Reginald Hudlin, “Candy Cane Lane” marks the reunion of the director, Eddie Murphy, and producer Brian Grazer, harking back to their collaborative magic in the 1992 hit film “Boomerang.”
