The wait is finally over for fans of Harlan Coben as his highly anticipated thriller, “Fool Me Once,” is now streaming on Netflix. With a track record of successful TV adaptations like “Safe,” “Stay Close,” “The Stranger,” and “The Woods,” Coben’s work continues to captivate audiences on the small screen.

Coben, the prolific American author, now has a total of eight series available on Netflix, and his latest addition dropped on January 1st.

Titled “Fool Me Once,” the show features an all-star cast that includes the talented Michelle Keegan, known for her role in “Brassic,” as well as Richard Armitage and Joanna Lumley.

For Armitage, this marks his third collaboration with Coben, having previously starred in “The Stranger” and “Stay Close.” With such a stellar lineup, expectations for the series are high.

The series’ synopsis offers a glimpse into the suspenseful storyline: “When ex-soldier Maya sees her murdered husband on a secret nanny cam, she uncovers a deadly conspiracy that stretches deep into the past.”

Even though “Fool Me Once” just made its Netflix debut, early viewers are already expressing their excitement and enthusiasm. One viewer took to social media to share their thoughts, saying, “BRILLIANT. I’m 3 episodes in and gripped.” Another viewer praised the series, calling it “Superb” and excellent for New Year viewing.

For many, the release of “Fool Me Once” on New Year’s Day was the perfect way to start the year, and the series quickly found a place on their watchlists. One eager fan commented, “Already in my watchlist! Looking forward to binge-watching it!”

Harlan Coben, the mastermind behind the gripping stories, expressed his excitement about “Fool Me Once,” describing it as a “pulse-pounder.” He also praised his collaborators and the dream cast, eager to see how they bring his characters to life.

Coben’s previous Netflix series have received critical acclaim, with “Stay Close” boasting an impressive 92 percent on Rotten Tomatoes’ Tomatometer, “Safe” earning a score of 71 percent, and “The Woods” securing an 89 percent score on the Tomatometer.
