Prepare for more “M3GAN.” In 2025, the internet’s favourite demonic dancing doll will return to theatres.
The sequel to Atomic Monster and Blumhouse’s campy thriller “M3GAN 2.0” is officially in the works. The film will be released in theatres on January 17, 2025, according to Variety.
Akela Cooper is returning to write the sequel. Plot details have not been revealed, but Allison Williams’ character, who helped bring the chaotic AI-like doll to life, will return for “2.0,” as will M3GAN’s pint-sized bestie, played by Violet McGraw.

The first film was directed by Gerard Johnstone, but no director for the sequel has been announced.
