The John Wick series is known for its violent action scenes, but star Keanu Reeves claimed that the fourth instalment will have one that is even greater than the previous three.

Reeves promised that the car chase scene in the upcoming John Wick: Chapter 4 would be “next level” in an interview with Total Film. When talking about the amount of preparation that went into the movie, particularly the amount of preparation required for the stunt driving, Reeves teased the moment.

“John Wick: Chapter 4 was the hardest physical role I’ve ever had in my career so far,” said Reeves. “They really trained me up to be able to have what we call the toolbox…We took the car-driving to the next level, which I really enjoy, there’s 180s, forward-into-reverse 180s, reverse-into-forward 270s, drifting… So it was really fun to get a chance to learn those skills, and to play.”

After John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum’s record-breaking opening weekend, which went on to gross over $300 million globally, John Wick: Chapter 4 was originally revealed. Keanu Reeves will make a comeback in the fourth film as the titular assassin, who was last pictured with numerous wounds from falling from the Continental Hotel’s roof.
