After more than three hours Boris Johnson has given his evidence to the MPs investigating whether Parliament was deliberately or recklessly misled about the breaking of Covid lockdown rules in Downing Street.

Fun guy?

Boris Johnson is a fun guy, forget all the lies etc, he is a laugh right?

Well, this opinion, held by the right-wing press, seemed to slip during yesterday’s committee hearing.

He lost it and is this who the real Boris Johnson is?

The hearing got heated when Conservative MP Alberto Costa suggested Johnson’s reliance on the advice of aides rather than senior civil servants was a “deflection mechanism”, which Johnson called “completely ridiculous.”

He’s a nasty piece of work when he gets rattled.

The lawyer in question was the former PM’s lawyer, (Lord) David Pannick QC.
