He slammed the BBC and called for the broadcaster to be ‘scrapped’ after they asked Gary Lineker to step away from Match Of The Day, then in a quick U-turn, he was reinstated.
Davidson appeared on GB News and branded the platform ‘woke’ and accused the cooperation of caring only about ‘box ticking.’
‘What does BBC stand for? Bring back Corbyn, bring back communism. It is a joke, and we have to pay for it, whether we like it or not. Let’s scrap it. Let’s watch GB News all day long,’ he said.
Lee Anderson
30p Lee was slammed for telling anti-monarchy activists to leave the UK rather than exercise their right to protest.
The MP for Ashfield in Nottinghamshire and deputy chairman of the Conservative Party.
He was commenting on Twitter about the dozens of arrests of protestors throughout the King’s coronation day.
The Metropolitan Police has been described as anti-democratic after more than 50 people were arrested for public nuisance and breach-of-the-peace offences during the demonstrations.
Conservative Party deputy chairman is to be paid £100,000 a year for hosting a show on GB News.
The outspoken Nottinghamshire MP will become the fifth Tory MP to present a GB News show after his deal with the channel was announced on 7 March.
Jacob Rees-Mogg, Esther McVey and Philip Davies also host programmes.
