Maybe you have forgotten, but a few years ago a man named Boris Johnson went from town to town telling people to ‘take back control,’ and leave the EU.
One would assume that he would like everyone to leave the EU, and especially not get MORE people in.
Well, you would be wrong.
Ukraine
He has said that he wants Ukraine to join the EU.
So is he admitted that being party of a trading bloc is now a good idea?
NATO would militarily save Ukraine from Russia, but the EU would just boost their economy.
We could do with a bit of that as only yesterday the hit to the UK economy from Brexit is coming through faster than had previously been expected, the Bank of England deputy governor has said.
“Brexit … has been something that has pulled on our potential output in our country and that’s been our assessment for many years,” he said.
“We’ve not changed our estimate of the long-running effects, but we’ve brought some of them forward and we think they’re probably coming in faster than we first expected.”
