The government has given the green light for bee-killing neonicotinoid pesticides to be used in the UK. It’s up to us to reverse this dangerous decision.

Campaign group Friends of the Earth labelled the move “incredibly brazen”.

But Michael Sly, chairman of the NFU Sugar board, welcomed the decision, saying he was “relieved”.

One teaspoon of the pesticide is enough to kill 1.25 billion bees – it should be kept away from them! Who else thinks the government should listen to the science and NOT the sugar lobby?”
