Wherever JD Vance lays his head… it all seems to go awry.
As Ron Filipkowski updated people, who have not kept up, writing: “JD Vance broke the National Championship trophy, then visited the Pope who died the next day, then visited India and a terrorist attack happened and war broke out, then endorsed his brother for mayor who lost 83-11%. What’s next on the agenda?”
Or this classic…
India-Pakistan conflict
It comes as JD Vance has said that the US will not intervene in the conflict between Pakistan and India, saying it was “fundamentally none of our business”.
The US would seek to de-escalate the conflict but could force neither side to “lay down their arms”.
Vance said: “What we can do is try to encourage these folks to de-escalate a little bit, but we’re not going to get involved in the middle of war that’s fundamentally none of our business and has nothing to do with America’s ability to control it.”
He added: “Our hope and our expectation is that this is not going to spiral into a broader regional war or, God forbid, a nuclear conflict. Right now, we don’t think that’s going to happen.”
Garry Kasparov
Chess legend Garry Kasparov wrote: “Is Vance available to attend Russia’s Victory Day parade and stand next to Putin?”
