The Musk–Trump feud shows no sign of fading. Instead, it’s gaining new voices. President Donald Trump dismissed any hope of patching things up with Elon Musk. “I’m not even thinking about Elon … The poor guy’s got a problem,” he said.
That comment dashed reports that the pair might hold talks to bury the hatchet.
👧 Daughter’s delight
Elon Musk’s transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson, couldn’t resist celebrating the rift. On Instagram, the 21-year-old posted:
“I love being proven right. I do not want to comment,”
She then burst into laughter, pairing a celebratory post on Threads with Chase Icon’s “Job Application” and the caption,
“Such beauty in life.”
Vivian, a frequent critic of her father, clearly savoured Musk’s dramatic turn against the President.
🗽 AOC can’t help but cackle
Over in Washington, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez had a field day. Asked about the Trump–Musk split, she quipped,
“Oh man, the girls are fighting, aren’t they?”
She told reporters the clash was long overdue:
“We’ve seen that these two huge egos were not meant to be friends. I think this breakup’s been a while coming. We’ll see the legislative fallout.”
AOC also noted Musk’s calls to impeach Trump and to kill the “big, beautiful bill.”
🇷🇺 Russia rolls out red carpet
Musk’s spat with Trump even caught the Kremlin’s attention. Dmitry Novikov, a senior Russian MP, offered Musk political asylum on state news channel TASS:
“He won’t need asylum, although if he did, Russia could provide it.”
Novikov argued that Musk’s motivations differ from political refugees. Still, the very offer shows how far the feud has spread.
🎬 It’s a Mean Girls showdown
As the drama unfolded, social media users likened the exchanges to Mean Girls. One X user wrote:
“Watching Trump and Elon go all Regina George on each other is entertaining.”
Another added:
“I’d put £5k in the stock market just for Trump and Elon to treat each other like Mean Girls.”
Clearly, this spat has become must-watch TV.
