Dorries ended with: “it is absolutely my intention to resign, but given what I know to be true and the number of varying and conflicting statements issued by No10 since the weekend, this process is now sadly necessary.”

So we think the answer is no she hasn’t resigned, so she can carry out her own investigation into why Johnson’s request for her to enter the House of Lords was turned down.

Nice to go on an investigation, at the cost of the taxpayer, still paying her salary of over £85,000!

Good morning @NadineDorries. It’s now been 31 days since you said that you were standing down as an MP with “immediate effect”. It’s also the case that you haven’t spoken in the Commons for over a year. You’re scrounging off the state lass. #GoNads pic.twitter.com/4GUayzpqyQ

Tories on course for worst ever by-election defeat in Nadine Dorries’ constituency, as the population will have more than doubled by the time she resigns.

Please tell me why Nadine Dorries is still earning a huge salary as an MP but has not sat in Parliament for a Year?
