A clip of Paul Golding strolling up to a random bloke—mistaking him for a supporter—has gone viral. Spoiler: the man wasn’t impressed.
📉 Tiny turnout, big spend
Golding vowed Britain First’s biggest rally ever on 17 May in Birmingham New Street. In reality, just 250 people turned up. That’s after splashing £18,000 on the event—echoing a similarly small turnout in Nuneaton back in March.
🥴 Pub over patriotism
In his speech, Golding promised a fight to “restore this land.” Instead, his so-called “patriots” broke off mid-march when a pub came into view. He even tried to stir chants of “Oh Tommy, Tommy” – but enthusiasm was thin on the ground.
😂 “LMAO… f*ck off!”
Someone shared the fateful clip with the caption:
“LMAO. Paul Golding walked up to a decent guy, assuming he was a supporter of Britain First. f*ck off”
That sums it up.
📅 Next stop: Manchester?
Undeterred, Britain First has already booked another rally on 2 August in Manchester. Let’s see if Golding can spot any real fans next time.
