In the recent reshuffle, Lewes MP Maria Caulfield, has been appointed parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Department for Business and Trade.
But Caulfield retains her brief as parliamentary under-secretary of state at the Department of Health and Social Care.
She replied: “I haven’t switched departments and not only have we restored the nurses bursary but introduced nurse apprenticeships so nurses don’t have to take on student debt.”
She quickly vanished after and ran for the hills after these comments came in…
