Richard Tice, deputy leader of Reform UK, faced a furious backlash on BBC Question Time as one audience member delivered a brutal takedown over Brexit’s impact.
🔥 Audience Member Takes Tice to Task
Tice, the former Brexit Party chair, found himself under fire when a member of the public tore into his party’s stance on Brexit.
“What we’ve seen with Brexit, under every single metric, our country is poorer – it’s a fact,” the audience member said. “Everything we are trying to do on the outside of that is just nibbling away at the edges.”
He didn’t stop there. “When people say we have no money in our pocket, Brexit and what you stood for has caused that.”
Tice tried to cut him off, calling the criticism “absolute nonsense and toddle!” But the audience member wasn’t having it.
🤯 ‘Hypocrisy at Its Finest’
He went on to accuse Reform UK of double standards, saying: “I thought we were supposed to trade with the rest of the world, all these big opportunities, and as soon as there’s a deal with another country, you’re complaining about it. This is hypocrisy at its finest!”
Then came the knockout line: “We’ve been duped as a nation. Brexit was the biggest con to enforce economic sanctions on ourselves, and it has affected every single facet of life. We’re suffering because of it, and that’s a fact.”
