Flynn said Sunak said yesterday access to the single market was special, exciting and attractive. “Why is Sunak denying it to the rest of the country?”

Rishi Sunak says it is disappointing that Flynn is ‘playing politics’ with this. Northern Ireland has a special place in the UK.

He also then said Sunak was more positive about the single market than labour leader Keir Starmer.

“Does it hurt the prime minister to know that the Labour party believes in Brexit more than he does?”

Sunak sayid this is about getting the right mechanisms in place for Northern Ireland, not about the macro issues around Brexit.

One response is spot on: ‘”Playing politics” is always the answer when there is a absolutely no credible honest answer.’

“Playing politics” is always the answer when there is a absolutely no credible honest answer. @mattgreencomedy did a great sketch on it when it was Johnson’s stock PMQs response.
