Nancy Sinatra has just delivered a classic comeback, putting a Trump supporter firmly in their place after they made a bold – and very wrong – claim about her famous father.
💥 ‘Not a Chance’ – Nancy Hits Back
The These Boots Are Made for Walkin’ singer was minding her own business on X (formerly Twitter) when she shared a Forbes article about her late father, Frank Sinatra.
A Trump supporter then jumped into the comments, confidently declaring: “He’d vote for Trump. Woot woot.”
Nancy’s response was as sharp as a pair of stiletto heels. “Not a chance,” she fired back. “You obviously don’t know my father at all. Do some homework before you post about him.”
📖 The Sinatra-Trump Feud That Proves Her Point
Nancy’s blunt putdown isn’t just family pride – it’s backed by history. In the 2017 book The Way It Was: My Life with Frank Sinatra by Sinatra’s former manager Eliot Weisman, it’s clear that Ol’ Blue Eyes had no time for Trump.
Weisman recalled a deal for Sinatra to perform at Trump’s Taj Mahal casino in 1990. When the venue’s original operator, Mark Grossinger Etess, died in a helicopter crash, Trump stepped in and tried to cut costs, including axing Sinatra’s close friend and opening act, Sammy Davis Jr., who had recently been diagnosed with cancer.
When Trump’s demands reached Sinatra, his response to his manager was simple: “Tell him he can go f*** himself.”
🎤 The Final Word
Weisman, keen to deliver the message himself, marched into Trump’s office and uttered the now legendary line: “Sinatra says, ‘go f*** yourself’.”
Frank ended up playing at the Sands in Las Vegas instead, making it clear he’d rather walk away than deal with the future president.
