Led By Donkeys stage giant anti-Musk protest — visible from space

“Thousands of people are ditching Tesla. Here’s one of them with a message you can see from space. Location: Black Rock Sands, Wales, UK.”

Campaign group Led By Donkeys have taken their protest against Elon Musk to the next level — literally. They staged a massive stunt on a beach in Wales, creating a message so big it can reportedly be seen from space.

Using a Tesla — the electric car company Musk owns — they carved the words “Don’t buy a Tesla” into the sand at Black Rock Sands.

To top it off, they also included a silhouette of Musk’s now-infamous salute from Donald Trump’s inauguration.

Why They Did It

The video of the protest features Prama, a Tesla driver who regrets buying one of the cars after seeing Musk’s recent actions.

Driving a Tesla fitted with a rake, she created the message in the sand.

“We used to joke that Elon Musk was like a real-life Iron Man,” Prama said. “But he’s become obsessed with power — that’s really changed my view of him.”

She explained that Musk’s salute at Trump’s inauguration was the final straw:

Spreading the Message

Led By Donkeys shared the protest video on social media, writing:

The group’s stunts have become increasingly bold. Last year, they projected a 10-minute video onto the front of Tesla’s European HQ, detailing Musk’s rise to power.

They also projected the words “Heil Tesla” alongside a picture of Musk’s salute onto a Tesla factory in Berlin.

Meanwhile, anti-Musk and anti-Tesla posters have been popping up all over London in recent weeks.

What’s Next for Led By Donkeys?

Led By Donkeys have made it clear they won’t stop until Musk is held accountable for his actions.

Whether or not their message from space will hit home — that’s another story.
