Amanda Holden made a bold political statement on Britain’s Got Talent by calling on Keir Starmer to compensate victims of the Post Office scandal.
🎤 A Powerful Statement
Holden’s comments came after a performance by Hear Our Voice, a choir of people affected by the Horizon IT scandal. After the choir performed in the third semi-final, Holden said, “If Keir Starmer actually wants to do something and make a difference as Prime Minister, do it now!”
💥 Simon Cowell Supports the Cause
Simon Cowell also spoke out. He described how the victims had been treated by those in power as “disgusting” and criticised the ongoing issue of the scandal. “It’s horrendous,” Cowell said. He also praised the choir for turning something negative into something positive by continuing to share their story.
🎶 Hear Our Voice Wins the Semi-Final
The choir’s performance resonated with the public. Hear Our Voice topped the public vote and won the semi-final, becoming one of the favourites to win this year’s show.
