Nigel Farage has called on Elon Musk to “get himself straightened out pretty quickly” after the billionaire’s very public falling-out with Donald Trump – despite having praised him as “a hero” before.
😬 Farage slams Musk… after Musk slammed him
The Reform UK leader made the awkward remarks during an interview with ITV News, commenting on Musk’s spat with Trump over his so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” – a tax-cutting plan Musk claims will explode the US deficit.
“It’s painful to watch,” Farage said. “Sad to leave government on those terms, to have the struggle he’s got with Tesla. I think Elon needs to get himself straightened out pretty quickly.”
But Farage’s critique came just after Musk publicly turned on him too.

💥 Musk: ‘Farage doesn’t have what it takes’
In a brutal post on X, Musk declared:
“The Reform Party needs a new leader. Farage doesn’t have what it takes.”
The jab also dashed any hopes that the tech billionaire might fund Reform UK, a possibility that had reportedly been floated in private.
👃 Drug rumours and donation dreams
Musk’s public row with Trump has escalated over recent weeks, fuelled by criticisms of Trump’s tax policies and unverified allegations about Musk’s drug use during the US campaign – allegations he has flatly denied.
While Musk’s political allegiances have shifted over the years, his latest comments have upset both MAGA world and Reform HQ.
For Farage, it’s a dramatic reversal in fortune – from backing Musk as a genius visionary to being publicly rejected by the man he wanted as a donor.
