Trade union leader Jo Grady didn’t hold back during her recent appearance on BBC’s Question Time, delivering a scathing critique of Reform UK and its deputy leader, Richard Tice.
🤔 ‘Offering Nothing for Working People’
Grady, the general secretary of the University and College Union, made it clear she doesn’t believe any major UK political party is currently offering the solutions the country needs. But she saved her sharpest words for Tice and his party.
She said Reform UK “offer nothing for working people” and accused them of dodging key issues like the housing crisis, transport problems, and the state of the NHS.
Grady also slammed the party for sticking to a “status quo politically with an added dose of finger pointing” – a line that earned a round of applause from the audience.

Grady then urged working-class communities to “come together and join trade unions” to push back against the current political climate, adding: “We aren’t having it anymore.”
📢 Online Applause
Her comments quickly gained traction on social media, with one user calling the two-minute takedown “glorious.”
