Donald Trump had a very embarrassing moment on Sunday – stumbling up the stairs of Air Force One – and the internet wasted no time pointing out the irony.
✈️ A misstep at 30,000 feet
The 78-year-old was boarding the presidential aircraft at Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, on his way to Camp David. He was set to meet with military officials to discuss invoking the Insurrection Act following immigration raids in Los Angeles.
But as he climbed the steps to Air Force One, cameras captured the moment he tripped – not once, but multiple times – before brushing it off and continuing without a glance back.

Of course, comparisons to Joe Biden came thick and fast. Social media users were quick to remind Trump of his own past remarks about Biden’s balance issues.
Back in 2023, Trump mocked the then-president after he tripped over a sandbag at an Air Force graduation in Colorado. At the time, Trump said:
“You don’t want that… it’s not inspiring.”
He’d also previously sneered:
“Joe Biden can’t even walk up a flight of stairs on Air Force One.”
Well, now it seems the stairs have claimed another victim.
