Do not worry if you are experiencing withdrawal from Eleven. Even if Stranger Things 5 won’t be available on Netflix this year, Millie Bobby Brown still has plenty of heroics to offer, as well as her usual lightning-fast reasoning and that of her fearless detective Enola Holmes.

This time, the rising star is facing a threat that the Hawkins Dungeons & Dragons team would be familiar with: a terrifying dragon. Brown plays the title damsel in the Oscar-nominated film Damsel by Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, yet this is no fairy tale.

What is Damsel about?

Damsel sees Brown as a dutiful, well, damsel, who agrees to marry a handsome prince — only to discover it was all a trap: The royal family recruited her as a sacrifice to repay an ancient debt. She’s then thrown into a cave with a fire-breathing dragon, relying solely on her wits and will to survive.

Alongside Brown, Damsel stars Angela Bassett, Robin Wright, Ray Winstone, Nick Robinson, Brooke Carter and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Oh, and a dragon.

When will Damsel arriveon Netflix?

Damsel starts streaming on Netflix on Oct. 13. This damsel is going to have to save herself.
