Fans pointed out that he also sported a glowing tan, neatly styled hair and gleaming white teeth, in a look which has been compared to Alan Partridge, the saviour of fictional ‘North Norfolk Digital.’

Brandon Flowers Glastonbury

Maybe he isn’t aware of the comedy character, but once upon a time he did join in on a joke in Alan’s home town of Norwich!

Flowers was met with huge cheers when he told the crowd “let’s be havin’ you”, which the famous cook and joint majority shareholder of the football club belted out at a 2005 match between the Canaries and Manchester City, reported Norwich Evening News.

What's their current format, and why is it not the full band?

Reminds me a little of Alan Partridge – "that was The Killers, or as they're now known, Brandon Flowers."

End of Elton?

Many people were worried that this would be the last time he played on English soil, well it appears to be true.

John has addressed his future in a statement shared on his Instagram, he said: “Thank you Glastonbury! The energy last night was like nothing else, and I couldn’t be more grateful to the crowd and the people watching at home for all your love and support.

“You will be in my heart and soul forever.

“UK, what a farewell. I love you.”
