Do you want some Brexit good news? Well, as ever, there is none.

Today it has been reported that the UK has slipped from 5th to 7th in exports of goods and services.

Adam Bienkov tweeted: “Rishi Sunak says the UK is “unleashing the benefits of Brexit” and becoming a more open global trading nation. Here’s what the government’s own latest figures on UK exports, out this morning, show.”

Over on Sky News they discussed the fall.

Best for Britain shared the post and wrote: “The UK slips from 5th to 7th in export of goods and services. It’s Brexit. Brexit is the cause. And a government failing to fix any of the huge problems with leaving the EU.”

Ryanair owner Michael O’Leary has slammed Brexit during the whole process. However, he now says that when older Brexiters die, the young will take the UK back into the EU. He adds that Johnson and his Brexit cohort are delusional.

Tissue of lies

Michael O’Leary said the British people had been sold a ’tissue of lies’ over the benefits of leaving the EU.

‘In the next five to ten years, quite a number of the Brexiteers will die, as the average age of them is about over 70,’ he told a Bloomberg event. ‘Younger people coming through are much more pro-European.’
