Nigel Farage is skint, or banks hate him, or maybe both? Nobody is quite sure.

He has recorded quite a few videos moaning about his banking issues.

This is the most recent he shared and Farage wrote: “At no point in the last 10 years did Coutts give me a min threshold. More importantly, the offer of a Natwest personal acct only came after I went public last Thursday. No business solution was offered, and they even denied I was a PEP, which is why 9 other banks have said no.”

However, BBC’s Simon Jack wrote that: “Nigel Farage fell below the financial threshold required to hold an account at Coutts, the prestigious private bank for wealthy customers the BBC has been told. It also understood that he was offered a normal account at Natwest which owns Coutts.”

Nigel Farage is skint

Maybe you could rejoin Coutts if you ditched avocados and cancelled Netflix, entire nation tells Nigel Farage, wrote satirical news site News Thump.

The joke comes from a Kirstie Allsop article claiming young people could afford to get on the property ladder if they gave up luxuries like Netflix, their gym membership and avocado toast.

The TV star, best known for hosting property shows such as Location, Location, Location alongside Phil Spencer, said it “enrages” her when people claim they cannot afford to buy a house.

Kirstie, whose parents are Baron Charles and Lady Fiona, bought her first home when she was only 21-years-old with the help of her family….
