Brexit: As Johnson sticks nose back in a summary of him goes viral again

Nobody really thought they had seen the back of Boris Johnson but his intervention into the Brexit negotiations this week have not been well received, unless you are in Jacob Rees-Mogg’s mob, of course.

Johnson urged Rishi Sunak not to abandon legislation he introduced on how Northern Ireland’s post-Brexit trade will work in the long-term.

The Northern Ireland Protocol Bill was set in motion when Mr Johnson was PM, but Rishi Sunak has been meeting EU leaders to agree a new deal.

A source close to Mr Johnson said the former PM thought it would be a “great mistake” to move away from his plan.

Now it seems that the deal to No 10 says ‘unresolved issues’ remain in NI protocol talks with EU as further meeting scheduled for today.

This is James O’Brien’s take today, but a summary of the man himself has gone viral (see further down)

We can’t pin this all on Johnson but it is hard to see he hasn’t caused problems for the sake of his own ego.

With this in mind this summary of Boris Johnson by John Bercow has gone viral all over again.
