Today show hosts apologised to listeners after Miriam Margolyes swore live on air while discussing the new chancellor.

The actress had just taken Jeremy Hunt’s seat, appearing on the show to discuss Robbie Coltrane’s death.

Margolyes stated that she wished him luck but wished him to ‘go away’ using explicit language.
