Barcelona are looking to sign two premier league players, with one making a return.

First off Pierre Emerick Aubameyang could be heading from Chelsea to Barcelona.

Fabrizo Romano tweeted: “Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, almost out of Chelsea project, was in Barcelona’s dressing room after Real Madrid game

“#FCB Auba has still excellent relationship with Barça players, board and Xavi. He wanted to return in January but it was not possible due to FIFA rules.”

Aubameyang’s time with Barcelona ended abruptly, as he fell down the pecking order after Robert Lewandowski’s arrival from Bayern Munich.

That was despite ending the 2021/22 season as Barcelona’s joint-top scorer. So the 33-year-old returned to the Premier League by joining Chelsea last summer.

However, there is also a young talent they are keeping their eyes on.

Barcelona priority target as new back up striker remains Vitor Roque, as Brazilian gem is considered potential future top player. 🔵🔴🇧🇷 #FCB

İlkay Gündoğan

Now Barcelona have been linked with Man City and German star İlkay Gündoğan.

His contract expires this summer and a move to Spain could be just the tonic from the rain in the North West of England.

He is under contract until June 30, 2023. While the club are willing to offer him a short-term extension, City are increasingly resigned to losing him

It is thought that he has always had affection for Barcelona due to their culture and style of play.

Xavi and Co are also keen on signing the German and strengthening their midfield
